Our Services

All Services

  • FULLY STOCKED PHARMACY

We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.  We regularly monitor prices online and at local pharmacies to remain competitive.  We keep our heartworm preventative comparable with online pricing.

  • HOSPICE/EUTHANASIA SERVICES

Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity.   The decision of when to euthanize is highly personal and is never easy. While our doctors and staff cannot tell you when it is time to say good bye to your pet, we will do our best to be supportive and help answer your questions and concerns. Occasionally euthanasia or the death of a pet takes us by surprise, and a last minute decision must be made about what to do with the remains of a pet. We utilize a company that offers several options in that case, Faithful Companion Memorials.  One option is a group burial with no ashes returned. The second option is a private cremation with ashes returned. You may also take the body home if your city or township allows. Sometimes it helps to make these decisions in advance, and our staff can guide you through this process.   For more information on Faithful Companion Memorials and their services, please visit:

  • IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
We currently offer a 3 year distemper vaccination protocol for dogs based on the guidelines of the American Veterinary Medical Association and American Animal Hospital Association.  The goal is to expose dogs to less vaccinations over their lifetime while still providing them with disease protection.  Please ask us about our vaccine protocols and what vaccines are ideal for your pet when you come in for their appointment.  We want to vaccinate your dog or cat specifically for the diseases they could be exposed to based on location and lifestyle.

  • MICROCHIPPING

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.  The Home Again Microchipping company offers a fabulous new program including amber alerts for lost pets to local veterinary clinics, humane societies and shelters, lost pet medical insurance coverage, 24/7 emergency medical care with free access to the ASPCA Animal Poison control center, and a pet ID card.  You can enroll your pet in this great new program if they have previously been microchipped or have a microchip from another company.  Please make an appointment to discuss this new program with us or to schedule microchipping!!!

For more information, see All About Microchipping, a brochure on microchipping from the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association.
